FIND YOURSELF AT A CAMPSITE ON A HUMAN SCALE

How do you organise a group holiday in the Tarn?

Organising a holiday with a group of people requires, first and foremost, co-ordinate several care homes, without forcing everyone to camp in the same way.

At Le Rousieux Campsite, several families or guests can share the same holiday accommodation whilst still having their own space.

Some people will prefer to bring their own tent, caravan or motorhome, whilst others will be looking for a fully equipped holiday rental.

Discover the the various accommodation options at Le Rousieux Campsite to identify solutions that may be suitable for your group.

A FIVE-STAGE PROJECT

How do you organise a group holiday at Camping Le Rousieux?

Step 1

Define the group’s composition

Please specify the estimated number of participants, whether any children will be attending, and the number of households or families. This information helps us to distinguish between those who are happy to share accommodation and those who would prefer their own space.

Step 2

Please select several possible dates

Please specify the period and duration you are looking for. Where your schedule allows, please suggest several dates: the availability of different accommodation options at the same time can vary considerably from week to week.

Step 3

Allocate accommodation requirements

Make a list of participants who are bringing their own equipment and those who need to hire it. For each household, note down the number of people, their sleeping requirements and the level of comfort they require.

Step 4

Report joint requests

Please specify any details that may be useful for organising the trip: whether you would like to be accommodated close to one another, the presence of young children, vehicles, any special equipment or specific requirements of certain participants. Requests will be considered depending on what the campsite can offer.

Present your project to the campsite

Please pass on all the information to Hélène and Luc via the page Contact Le Rousieux Campsite. They will be able to check whether your stay is feasible and advise you on a suitable arrangement based on availability.

SEVERAL WAYS TO GET TOGETHER

Family gathering

or a family reunion

Camping allows several generations to stay in the same place without necessarily sharing a single accommodation. Each household can maintain its own routine and space, whilst spending time with the rest of the family during the holidays.

Stay between

friends

A holiday with friends may bring together people with different preferences: some come fully kitted out for camping, whilst others prefer to rent accommodation. Planning together makes it easier to organise arrangements and avoids booking unsuitable accommodation.

Association

A community, sporting or group project can be assessed on the basis of the number of participants, the dates and the stated requirements. Please contact the campsite well in advance to check whether your planned event is compatible with the site’s availability and operating arrangements.

Does your project require a private room or venue?

Le Rousieux Campsite is ideal for groups wishing to stay together in the familiar atmosphere of a family campsite. For a a wedding, a family reception or a business event requiring function rooms, on-site accommodation, a catering service and the exclusive hire of an estate, Hélène and Luc also welcome you to La Téoulière, in Serviès.

ALLOCATING ACCOMMODATION

How can you accommodate a group without imposing the same arrangement on everyone?

Not all members of a group necessarily have the same expectations. Some have their own camping equipment, whilst others are travelling with young children or would like more facilities. The solution may therefore be to combine several types of accommodation within the same campsite, subject to availability.

Start by grouping participants by household rather than simply considering the total number of people. For each family or pair, check the required capacity, the number of beds needed and the equipment that is truly essential.

Avoid automatically selecting the maximum capacity for each property. Accommodation that is theoretically suitable for a certain number of people may not be appropriate given the mix of adults, children or couples.

If you would like several pitches to be close together, please let us know when you make your initial enquiry. The campsite will look into this, but their location cannot be guaranteed until existing bookings have been checked.

Take a look at the Prices and availability at Le Rousieux Campsite and then submit a request containing all the relevant information.

YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT GROUP HOLIDAYS

Planning a group holiday at Le Rousieux Campsite

Here is the key information you’ll need to gather before contacting the campsite to book a stay for a group.

What types of organisations can apply?

The campsite can consider enquiries from large families, groups of friends, associations or clubs. Whether this is feasible depends on the number of participants, the dates, the accommodation required and whether the proposal is compatible with the campsite’s operations.

Do all participants have to choose the same accommodation?

No. The group can be split across several rentals and pitches depending on each household’s needs and availability. A contact person can coordinate the choices to make communication with the campsite easier.

Can the accommodation units be placed next to one another?

You can ask to be accommodated nearby. Hélène and Luc will look into the options based on the accommodation chosen and any bookings already made. However, proximity can only be confirmed once this has been checked.

How far in advance should you plan your trip?

It is advisable to contact the campsite as soon as you know the approximate number of participants and the dates. The more different types of accommodation the group requires, the easier it is to find suitable availability if you book well in advance.

Where can you organise a wedding or an event that requires a private venue?

For an event requiring function rooms, a catering service, on-site accommodation and exclusive use of the venue, discover the La Téoulière Estate in Serviès. This option is different from a standard group holiday at Camping Le Rousieux.
